Terrariums are such a fun way to bring nature into your home.
You can be creative, and apply your innate intuition skills to practice the best placement of plants. There are no mistakes -just experiment.
Succulents are my favorite living plant because they are so easy to care for.
Also, they are nature’s true art. When you water them every couple of weeks be sure to observe their amazing art forms ~ or what is referred to as patterns of sacred geometry.
Reading the patterns in your own space is the first step to understanding yourself. Why? Because everything about you is reflected in your home, work-space, or even just your bedroom.
Do you go along with the latest trends, or do you prefer to be different? Are your color choices soft- humble, or wild- look at me ?
What does your artwork or posters on the wall say about your interests, your heroes, or your dreams? Are you connected to nature?
Have you cultivated good habits which will help you to succeed in school, work, relationships, and getting the most out of life?
The key to success in life is ‘discipline’. Often we get overwhelmed with too much clutter, over-stuffed time schedules, eating when ever, and not getting enough sleep.
However, we can change all that. Observe nature’s routine patterns – the setting sun at about the same time everyday. Then the sun rises the next day- again at about the same time.
Similarly, we can follow the tide tables to know when the tides will ebb and flow because it all happens in regular rhythms.
Since humans are a part of nature, Feng shui and wabi sabi philosophy suggests that we can learn how to live well by emulating nature with routine, orderly habits every day.
Brush your teeth, make your bed, eat a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the same time everyday. Go to bed and rise every day at the same time just like the sun.
Living well is about learning how to pace oneself in slow, steady rhythms like nature when it is behaving. What happens when nature gets out of balance?
It is chaotic producing severe storms, earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, etc. The same thing happens to us when our body and mind is stressed to the max ~ severe migraines, eating disorders, and chronic diseases.
So lets all slow down, learn from the plants, and create live terrariums for ourselves, and for the perfect gift. Go to http://www.bystephanielynn.com/2014/how-to-make-a-glass-globe to learn how to DIY.
