Hestia, the Greek Goddess of the Hearth returns in the form of Feng Shui, to personify the invisible feminine presence or energy
that permeates a situation or a home
and transforms it into a sacred space with soul.
As a hearth-keeper, Hestia finds her inner harmony through outer order.
Tending to the hearth is a centering activity; a means through which you can put yourself in order when you put your house in order to bring soul to the Home.
Feng Shui, requires that we activate the Hestia in all of us in order to bring soul and healing back into to our home.
Fond memories of my grandmothers’ house remind me of how we sat on the front porch every evening after dinner to talk to the neighbors walking by on their evening stroll.
The house was not a fancy mansion, but it had a round table in the kitchen where everyone gathered to talk -this was the hearth -the heart of the house. It was my rock. My soul felt at peace in her Home.
What is HOME?
It is a place, a space, that you resonate with on many levels: emotional, psychological, spiritual and social.
Your body and mind responds intuitively to the stimuli in your surroundings.
Birds, butterflies, fish; all know when they are home after considerable hardships during their annual migration. They have a natural ability to know where they will flourish.
Do you know how to bring soul to your home to flourish?
This is where I can help you relearn the valuable experiences of home and how it can nourish your soul through mindful feng shui.
Endless trips to the shopping mall for more stuff is not the answer.
A tidy room, the gifts of Nature, symbols with wonderful memories, and simple laughter and joy while sitting around the dinner table can bring the soul you are missing!
Send comments on how you bring soul to your space.
