indicates that California’s EMF review panel concluded in its 2002 final report that electric and magnetic fields “can cause some degree of increased risk of childhood leukemia, adult brain cancer, Lou Gehrig’s disease and miscarriage.”
“PG&E has proposed to modify its facilities to raise the height of the three tower’s near Mr. Borjesson’s house to enable EMF reduction at the ground level,” it said in its Jan 2 ruling.
But, even though this would cut the EMF levels by 15 %, Mr. Borjesson does not feel this is enough because his bedroom is on the 3rd floor, not the ground level.
Michael Neuert, from Santa Rosa, CA, who does advanced assessments and remediation www.emfcenter.com explains that published studies from around the world have linked EMFs to increased risks for several types of cancer, as well as increased stress, fatigue, suppression of the immune system, important cellular and hormone changes, and even depression.
Common sources of magnetic fields can come from power lines, wiring, electric panels, microwaves, hidden electrical wiring, fluorescent lights, computers, televisions and other electrical devices.
One of my clients, who called me to help with clutter, was amazed when I found excessive EMF levels in the bedroom. Her 30 year old boy friend had been ill for quite some time, but they couldn’t figure out why.
The findings were verified -the culprit was faulty wiring coming from the upstairs apartment. One week later, the clients moved out when she learned that she was pregnant and to help him heal.
